KIDS MIX opened in November 2000 - hence kidsmix2000.co.uk. We have gone from strength to strength and would like to thank all the parents/carers and children that have made this possible. Kids Mix operates out of English Martyrs Primary School, also serving Urmston Infant & Junior School and Our Lady of the Rosary. The Holiday Club is also based here and is open to children from all schools.

Our mission

KIDS MIX   has been set up to help parents who have difficulty juggling a career with childcare responsibilities. We aim to provide primary school children and parents with quality Breakfast, After School and Holiday provision offering safe, stimulating activities to an excellent standard.

This Club will provide continuity, commitment and quality. It's location means it is easily accessible to all the local community, especially many of the local schools.

Parents must have peace of mind knowing their children are in safe hands whilst they work.

In providing such a Club children will have : -

• A place to call their own giving them ownership and an identity.
• A place where they are safe.
• A place that will provide stimulation, guidance, supervision and consistency.
• A place where they can all socialise and make new friends.
• A place with a warm and friendly environment.
• A place where staff and carers are dedicated to children.
• A place where staff are tolerant and caring, setting good examples at all times.
• A place where staff shall be sympathetic to children's needs after a long day at school.
• A place where their safety is paramount.

Admissions policy

The aim of our Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club is to promote playcare for children attending various primary schools within the locality. We provide Breakfast and After School care at English Martyrs Primary School for children attending that school and also children attending Urmston Infants and Juniors.


Priority will be given to siblings of children already attending the Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club.
